Hi, I’m Jen Phanomrat!

I’m a multidisciplinary artist co-creating with food, nature, and other curious humans. My creations are often shaped by my culturally rich upbringing in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY, the beautiful Hudson Valley, local ecosystems, and my Filipino and Thai roots.

You may have seen me somewhere on the internet or TV cooking, crafting, traveling around, or using an on-the-go urination device in the backseat of my car (ok, that was just that one time) for a little more than a decade now.

I also have a really freakin’ hard time trying to describe who the hell I am, so I’m taking my friend Vinny’s advice and just going to tell you what I’m interested in before I overthink this About Me page and end up scrapping my entire account in avoidance:

  • writing ideas, goals, things to add to the grocery list, and love notes on multi-colored Post-its stuck all over my home

  • pouring my love into every snackie, meal, and herbal remedy I make for myself and others

  • walking after dinner for good poops

  • drawing and writing lil’ messages and doodles for myself after morning meditation

  • learning about science and spirituality (both I consider that same) and sharing what I’ve learned with other curious minds

  • meeting new trees on walks, hikes, the nearby shopping plaza and calling them all “my friends!

Be well, be nourished!
